Compliance & KYC Analyst
At nsave, we’re building a new kind of fintech focused on protecting and growing the wealth of underserved communities. Our mission is to provide safeguarded hard currency accounts and investment tools to individuals in distressed economies, using compliance-by-design principles and proprietary technology.

We’re looking for a highly capable Compliance & KYC Analyst to join our team and provide dedicated Americas-timezone coverage. This role is critical to ensuring seamless 24-hour compliance operations, timely case processing, and effective cross-regional collaboration.

📍 Contract role based in Egypt (Night and Day Shifts available)

About the Role
As a Compliance & KYC Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding nsave’s platform and customers. You’ll conduct KYC reviews, investigate suspicious activity, manage compliance queues during Americas business hours, and ensure structured handovers to global colleagues.

Your work will directly contribute to maintaining regulatory standards, mitigating financial crime risks, and strengthening operational resilience across time zones.

Delivering reliable compliance coverage
Processing KYC reviews and escalations within defined SLAs
Reducing overtime burden on existing team members
Ensuring seamless end-of-shift case handovers between regions
Supporting 24-hour global compliance continuity

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For
KYC Reviews & Customer Due Diligence
Conduct KYC and KYB reviews for new and existing customers
Perform identity verification and enhanced due diligence (EDD) where required
Apply risk-based decision-making aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements

 

Compliance Escalations & Investigations
Investigate flagged transactions and suspicious activity alerts
Review sanctions, PEP, and adverse media hits using screening tools (e.g., World-Check, ComplyAdvantage)
Escalate high-risk or complex cases appropriately
Support cross-border and cross-regional investigations in collaboration with global compliance colleagues

 

Queue & Operations Management
Manage and prioritise compliance queues during Americas business hours
Ensure timely processing within established turnaround times
Execute structured end-of-shift handovers to ensure continuity on open or sensitive cases

 

Process Improvement & Collaboration
Identify inefficiencies in compliance workflows and propose improvements
Contribute to documentation and refinement of SOPs
Partner with product, operations, and risk teams to enhance compliance controls

 

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
Background in AML, Financial Crime (FinCrime), and/or financial services
Experience conducting KYC, EDD, and transaction monitoring reviews
Prior experience in fintech or digital financial services preferred
Experience working in FinCrime operations environments

 

Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with sanctions and screening tools (e.g., World-Check, ComplyAdvantage)
Familiarity with risk-based frameworks and regulatory expectations
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Comfortable working with case management and compliance systems

 

Personal Attributes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required)
Strong judgement and ability to make defensible risk-based decisions
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working independently during regional coverage hours
Collaborative mindset for cross-timezone teamwork
