The Role
We’re hiring our first in-house Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end hiring process for engineering and product roles as we scale GoIELTS v2 and beyond.
You won’t be a cog in a large HR machine. You’ll be working directly with the founder to define hiring criteria, source talent across MENA, screen candidates rigorously, and help us build a team that can actually execute.
If you’ve recruited developers at a SaaS startup, you know your way around LinkedIn Recruiter and Sales Navigator, and you’re already using AI to do 10x the work — this role was written for you.
What You’ll Own
Full-cycle technical recruitment — from writing the JD to closing the offer — for roles like Senior Frontend (Next.js), Senior Backend (Laravel), Full-Stack Tech Lead, UI/UX Designer, and AI Engineers
Proactive headhunting via LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, GitHub, and other channels — we don’t wait for applications
Structured CV screening using AI-assisted workflows and weighted scoring matrices (we already have a process; you’ll run it and improve it)
Coordinating interview pipelines — scheduling, scorecards, feedback loops — using ClickUp as our ATS
Employer branding — crafting compelling LinkedIn posts and job ads that attract senior talent, not just job seekers
Talent market intelligence — stay on top of salary benchmarks and candidate availability in the Egyptian and broader MENA tech market
You’re the Right Fit If You:
Have 3–5 years of technical recruitment experience, ideally at a SaaS company or tech startup
Have successfully closed software engineering roles (frontend, backend, full-stack) — not just sourced them
Are a daily LinkedIn Recruiter / Sales Navigator user and know Boolean search, InMail strategies, and how to find passive candidates
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to write job ads, filter CVs, and draft outreach messages — not just “aware of them”
Have recruited for remote or hybrid roles and understand remote work dynamics
Can read a developer’s CV and tell signal from noise — you know what Next.js, Laravel, PostgreSQL, and pgvector mean, even if you’re not an engineer
Are metrics-driven — you track time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, sourcing channel conversion
Are comfortable working in a lean, startup environment where priorities shift and you operate with high autonomy
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting for EdTech or B2C SaaS platforms
Familiarity with Arabic-speaking tech talent markets (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan)
Prior experience using ClickUp or similar tools for applicant tracking
Experience designing or running structured interview processes and scorecards
