MediMinds supports U.S. healthcare practices with credentialing, medical billing and practice operations. Our company is based in Alexandria, and this position is performed remotely from home.

The role

We are looking for a Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist who can manage applications, follow up consistently and verify that providers are correctly enrolled with payers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit individual and group provider credentialing and payer enrollment applications.

• Maintain CAQH profiles, supporting documents and recredentialing schedules.

• Follow up with commercial insurers, Medicare and applicable state Medicaid programs.

• Resolve enrollment issues involving provider information, practice locations, tax IDs and group affiliations.

• Verify participation status, effective dates and outstanding requirements using documented payer responses.

• Maintain a clear tracker showing each application’s status, next action and follow-up date.

Requirements

• Currently based in Egypt.

• Hands-on experience managing U.S. provider credentialing and payer enrollment.

• Practical familiarity with CAQH, PECOS and payer enrollment portals.

• Understanding of the differences between credentialing, contracting and enrollment.

• Strong written and spoken English, including confidence making payer calls.

• Accurate documentation, consistent follow-up and ownership of assigned work.

• Availability during agreed U.S. business hours.

• Reliable internet, a suitable computer and a private workspace.

Preferred experience

• Mental health, psychiatry and primary care practices, including nurse practitioners.

• Payer enrollment in North Carolina and California.

• Medicare, Medicaid and commercial networks, including Medi-Cal managed care.

• New practice launches, individual-to-group affiliations and enrollment corrections.
