My client are looking for a Technical Lead to take ownership of the architecture and technical delivery of a modern retail wealth platform, built using an Angular frontend and microservices-based backend.

This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with architectural ownership and team guidance in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment.

As Technical Lead, you will define and drive the overall system architecture, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deliver a robust, production-ready platform.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end system architecture
Lead the design of both Angular frontend and microservices backend
Oversee the full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment)
Ensure scalability, performance, and security across the platform
Provide technical leadership, mentoring developers and conducting code reviews
Collaborate with Cloud/DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments
Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and technical governance
Required Experience

8+ years of software development experience
Strong experience with Angular architecture and frontend design
Deep understanding of microservices architecture
Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications
Solid experience across the SDLC with a focus on governance and quality
Proven ability to lead teams and drive technical decisions
