Bechtel is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of design strategies for a new residential, commercial, and recreational development project in Egypt. The role involves integrating design, infrastructure, sustainability, and citizen-centric technologies, and is accountable for the performance of the Design Consultants. This project is part of a significant contract awarded to Bechtel.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field
Minimum 15-20 years of experience in design management
5+ years in smart city or large-scale urban infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of large public/private infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and sustainable urbanism
Experience with BIM, GIS, and smart city platforms
Leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and independently
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
