Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join and lead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, build, and deploy predictive models and AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate combines strong statistical and machine learning expertise with excellent communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models
Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation
Translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, business stakeholders)
Contribute to the development of scalable data science workflows and best practices
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to technical knowledge sharing

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience in Data Science or a related analytical role
Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and applied modeling workflows
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or distributed processing frameworks
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud) for data and analytics workloads
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience building AI-powered solutions, analytics platforms, or decision-support systems
Knowledge of Generative AI, prompt engineering, or applied AI use cases in business environments
