Represent the company in the MEA market by managing and growing existing OEM accounts as well identify new OEM, EPC & Utilities Business opportunities for diversified electrical products, ensuring compliance with entire MEA standards, and driving revenue through geographical expansion and acquisition of new business opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Planning and geographical expansion
Develop and execute plans for retention and expansion of current accounts and acquisition of new customers in MEA.
Align plans with compliance requirements for MEA region (GCC standards, local utility regulations).
Market Analysis & Customer Relationship Management
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities across MEA Region.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients as and when required, EPC contractors, and utilities for additional businesses.
Understand regional regulatory frameworks and ensure product compliance before approaching.
Sales Performance
Track performance for both existing and new business segments, as well as new business ideas.
Analyse trends and competitor activities to optimize growth strategies.
Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing OEM & EPC (as and when to focus) clients.
Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts with the products we have, or approach with new product Idea that we can make with our R&D & Cross functional team.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new partnerships and strategic alliances across MEA.
Develop proposals and negotiate contracts for new business.
Team Leadership & Development
Collaborate with internal teams to support technical and compliance needs.
Provide guidance and training to ensure alignment with regional goals.
Sales Operations & Process Optimization
Manage pipelines for both existing and new business.
Utilize CRM tools for accurate forecasting and reporting.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Coordinate with internal departments (R&D, engineering, Production compliance, logistics) and external partners.
Resolve issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in OEM/EPC sales and background in business development in electrical grid/transformer industry.
Strong knowledge of CT/PT products and compliance standards for MEA region.
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to travel extensively across Middle East & Africa.
Skills & Competencies
Ensure all products meet GCC standards & compliance, and other regional directives.
Maintain basic documentation and certifications for OEM/EPC clients.
