Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing startup team.
This role is focused on top-of-funnel sales activities: prospecting, qualifying leads, and booking meetings for the sales team. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers and play a critical role in building OPTEAM’s pipeline across the construction and infrastructure sector.
You will work closely with our marketing manager and the CEO to refine messaging, identify high-quality leads, and accelerate deal flow.

ABOUT OPTEAM
The construction industry has long since suffered from cost overruns and missed deadlines. 50% of large typical construction projects run 80% over budget.

OPTEAM is based in Dubai, UAE and is working to evolve the way projects are managed and tracked. Using our own in-house AI algorithms and patented methodologies, we build software to help construction companies track and optimize their construction planning.

YOUR QUALITIES

Excellent communication skills in Arabic (native or fluent) and English

YOUR SKILL QUALIFICATIONS

Confident in outbound prospecting via phone calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email
Ability to qualify leads based on ICP, use case, budget, and urgency
Comfortable working with CRM tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to clearly explain a product’s value proposition and book demos

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, SDR, inside sales, or lead generation roles
Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or B2B SaaS is a strong plus
Experience selling into the GCC / MENA market is highly desirable

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Prospecting and identifying potential customers in the construction and infrastructure sector
Making outbound calls, sending LinkedIn messages, emails, and WhatsApp follow-ups
Qualifying inbound and outbound leads based on predefined criteria
Booking product demos and meetings for the CEO / sales team
Maintaining accurate lead data and activity tracking in HubSpot
Following up consistently with prospects to move them through the funnel
Working with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and messaging
Supporting pipeline growth across the UAE and wider MENA region

COMPENSATION

$1,100 – $1,800 USD per month
