Job Description

We’re looking for a remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified demos for our Account Executives through high-volume outbound calling to North American veterinary clinics.

In this role, you’ll conduct 50+ daily cold calls, navigate gatekeepers to reach decision-makers, and book demos that fuel our sales pipeline. Your success directly impacts our Sales team’s ability to focus on closing deals rather than prospecting.

This results-driven position requires creating positive experiences during cold outreach. Veterinary professionals should feel genuinely engaged, not pressured, which leads to higher-quality demos and better conversion rates for our Account Executives.

Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 1-3 years of SDR, BDR, or cold calling experience with excellent English communication skills and proven phone rapport-building ability. You’re competitive, goal-oriented, and thrive under performance targets. Your approach prioritizes genuine engagement over high-pressure tactics, understanding that consultative conversations convert better than pushy sales pitches. You’re resourceful in finding contact information and decision-makers, even when they’re not easily accessible through standard channels.

Your performance will be measured by call volume (minimum 50 daily) and demo bookings (targeting multiple per week).

You’ll be on the Marketing team and will collaborate with the Sales team and three Account Executives for demo handoffs, while working closely with our Marketing Manager on lead generation strategies.

You’ll be doing things like:

Cold Calling & Demo Booking: Making 50+ daily calls to veterinary clinics in assigned territories; working from master database and marketing leads; navigating gatekeepers (Receptionists, Practice Managers) with basic objection handling; adapting messaging based on prospect responses; generating interest to book demos for Account Executives
Multi-Channel Follow-up: Email sequences after initial contact; text follow-up using same number; following up on marketing leads from Facebook ads and trade shows; timing outreach based on prospect availability
Data Management: Logging all interactions with detailed notes; updating contact properties and outcomes; tracking pipeline progression; maintaining territory organization and data accuracy
Team Coordination: Coordinating prospect handoffs with Account Executives; providing lead quality feedback to Marketing; updating SOPs based on field results; participating in strategy sessions and sharing regional insights
