Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Counter Sales – AI Trainer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-driven customer service. In this part-time, remote position, you will leverage your expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) in counter and rental clerks to train advanced AI systems, ensuring they accurately reflect real-world scenarios and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with AI development teams to provide detailed insights on counter sales and rental operations.
Assess and annotate customer interactions to enhance AI comprehension of service scenarios.
Develop and verify training materials and data sets related to receiving orders, managing rentals, and processing payments.
Describe available products and services, compute costs, and simulate payment acceptance within AI training modules.
Test AI performance against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
Document best practices and communicate feedback clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with trends in counter sales and rental services to inform AI training strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a counter clerk, rental agent, or similar role (e.g., Leasing Consultant, Rental Sales Representative, Video Clerk).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and detail.
Demonstrated ability to receive, process, and manage in-person orders for repairs, rentals, or services.
Familiarity with describing options, computing costs, and handling payment transactions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data annotation and review.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment and adhering to deadlines.
Basic technical proficiency and eagerness to learn AI concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding new staff in a counter or rental services setting.
Previous exposure to AI systems, machine learning, or data annotation projects.
Ability to translate industry knowledge into actionable feedback for AI development.
