Quality Assurance & Certification Manager

Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Quality Assurance & Certification Manager to lead our compliance and testing operations. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters, bridging the gap between our agricultural processing in Egypt and our buyers’ strict European standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Certification Management: Lead the acquisition and maintenance of our facility and product certifications, specifically focusing on completing our HACCP, ISO 22000, and EU Organic certifications.
Laboratory Communication: Handle all correspondence, sample logistics, and negotiations with accredited international and local testing laboratories.
Quality Control Oversight: Oversee the laboratory analysis processes for critical parameters, including moisture content, essential oil levels, pesticide residues (EU MRL compliance), and overall purity.
Traceability & Documentation: Ensure rigorous traceability is maintained through fully documented sourcing, processing, and quality records.
Export Compliance: Guarantee that the correct Certificate of Analysis (COA) and required export documentation are flawlessly prepared and available for every shipment.

Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Compliance within the agricultural export, food production, or herbs and spices sector.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of European food safety regulations, EU Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs), and international organic certification standards.
Audit Expertise: Hands-on experience preparing for, managing, and passing international audits (e.g., ISO 22000, HACCP, EU Organic).
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory for daily technical communication with European laboratories, certification bodies, and buyers.
Core Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple testing and certification timelines simultaneously.
