Strategic Account Manager – PR & Media Relations
Remote (Global – excluding the US)
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager with 2–3 years of PR or media relations experience to help drive earned media coverage for fast-growing companies across technology, finance, AI, and emerging digital sectors.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn company signals into compelling media stories, build journalist relationships, and secure high-quality coverage.
You will work closely with founders and leadership teams to develop PR strategies, pitch stories, and manage media campaigns that deliver measurable visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
Act as the primary contact for client accounts
Build strong relationships with founders, executives, and marketing teams
Lead regular strategy discussions and identify new media opportunities
Media Relations
Pitch stories, announcements, and commentary to Tier 1 and Tier 2 journalists
Secure editorial coverage across technology, finance, AI, and business publications
Develop compelling narratives and media angles
Campaign Delivery
Support the execution of PR campaigns, press releases, and thought leadership
Coordinate interviews, podcasts, and expert commentary placements
Work with internal teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly
Performance Tracking
Monitor coverage, reach, and engagement
Provide clear reporting and insights on campaign performance
Requirements
2–3 years experience in PR, communications, or media relations
Experience pitching journalists and securing media coverage
Strong media contacts in tech, finance, AI, or disruptive industries
Excellent storytelling and writing skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
Interest in emerging technology (crypto knowledge is a plus, not required)
