Product Configuration Designer

Mimeo.com is seeking a Packaging Product Configuration Designer to join our growing Labels & Packaging team. This hybrid technical-creative role brings packaging products to life across our e-commerce platforms.

You’ll combine design thinking, technical configuration, and a deep passion for understanding customers—creating intuitive, visually engaging, and easy-to-order packaging products. You’ll collaborate across teams to configure, test, and refine every detail of the digital packaging experience, ensuring each product meets customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities
What You’ll be doing
Collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing, and Development to design and configure new packaging products that align with business goals and customer expectations.
Configure and launch new products within our SaaS platforms (currently Infigo and PrintIQ), leveraging a strong understanding of their capabilities and constraints.
Use custom CSS and JSON editing to refine product displays and enhance user experience.
Develop and optimize 3D preview and parametric sizing models (using Blender or similar tools) to help customers visualize their packaging with accuracy and confidence.
Manage and update product data, pricing, and workflows, ensuring seamless accuracy across systems.
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure functionality, usability, and a frictionless customer journey.
Collect, analyze, and act on customer feedback—observing real interactions, identifying pain points, and implementing improvements that make ordering easier and more satisfying.
Collaborate with marketing and support teams to translate customer insights into meaningful platform updates and product enhancements.
Use Adobe Creative Suite to create dielines and artwork resources for product setup.
Configure and maintain Enfocus PitStop preflight profiles to ensure error-free print file processing.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements for a Successful Candidate
A genuine passion for listening to customers and improving products based on their feedback.
Strong technical learning agility—you’re quick to explore and master new systems and digital tools.
Experience, print, or product configuration is highly desirable
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Blender 3D (or similar modeling software).
Some experience with JSON scripting and CSS editing is a plus.
A user-centered approach to design and configuration, grounded in data and insight.
Strong communication and collaboration skills—you connect dots across teams to deliver seamless results.
Organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
