Role summary
Your presales work helps you translate SaaS ERP capabilities into clear business value. You guide prospects through requirements, demos, and solution fit, supporting the sales team at every stage.
Key responsibilities
Work with Sales to capture customer business processes and ERP needs.
Map customer requirements to SaaS ERP modules (inventory, POS, purchasing, accounting, reporting, etc.).
Prepare and deliver tailored demos that show how the ERP solves daily workflow problems.
Support POCs and pilot projects, including basic configuration and data setup.
Handle RFIs, RFPs, and proposal inputs for SaaS ERP opportunities.
Explain ERP features using simple, business-focused language for non-technical users.
Share product feedback with Product and Engineering teams.
Check solution feasibility before handover to implementation.
Track presales KPIs: demos, win/loss reasons, and deal progress.
Skills & experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or similar.
1–2 years in SaaS, ERP, presales, or related roles.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Basic understanding of core ERP processes (inventory, sales, purchasing, finance).
Experience giving product demos or walkthroughs.
Ability to turn technical features into business value.
Comfortable working with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams.
Strong CRM knowledge (Hubspot, Sales Force,.. Etc).
