The Product Manager oversees and manages the product throughout the project. He is expected to translate business strategies into technical requirements, including specifications for software development.
Essential Role
Manages project scope and creates a vision that aligns to company’s goals.
Tracks and updates software development progress.
Takes full responsibility to the project and making sure products are properly handled from start to finish.
Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop creative process in generating new ideas based on feedback and suggestions and transcribe in a technical and comprehensive form.
Build product strategy through developing and maintaining project roadmap.
Keep track of the timeline for implementation, schedule and deadline of each software development phase.
Develop project scopes and objectives, while making sure that technical feasibility are met.
Created detailed project plan to track progress.
Define product strategy in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Run pilot programs with an early stage products
Identify customers’ needs making sure that the product/project will fulfil the needs.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
2 years + of related experience and/or training
Proven success in defining and launching products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelors Degree in IT or related filed
Ability to influence cross functional teams without authority
Highly analytical and strong management skills
Strong initiative and ability to interact with team mates and stake holders
