Operations Associate (AI-Fluent)

RemoteOne places dedicated, AI-powered talent into growing businesses. We’re building a pool of Operations Associates who can take on research, analysis, and process work for founders and operators who need more than a typical assistant.

This role varies by client, but the core of it is the same: turning loosely defined problems into clear, useful answers, and making the business run more smoothly. Depending on the client, tasks might include:

Research & analysis

Researching a market, competitor, supplier, or business opportunity and summarizing what actually matters
Preparing concise briefings or recommendations for a founder or leadership team
Pulling together data from multiple sources into one clear picture
Drafting supporting documents, proposals, emails, or content

Operations & project support

Managing calendars, inboxes, and follow-ups so nothing falls through
Coordinating projects, tracking tasks, and chasing deadlines across a team
Maintaining trackers, dashboards, and reporting for sales, finance, or delivery
Managing vendors, suppliers, or contractors, and handling day-to-day admin
Onboarding new hires or clients and keeping SOPs and internal docs up to date

AI workflow automation

Documenting recurring processes and identifying which parts can be automated
Building AI-powered workflows that connect different tools and remove manual steps
Setting up AI-driven ways to handle repetitive research, reporting, or communication tasks
Automating data entry, follow-ups, reminders, and status updates between the systems a business already uses
Reviewing and improving automations over time as the business changes, rather than setting them up once and leaving them

You’ll do well in this role if:

You can take an unclear brief and figure out what’s actually needed
You write clearly and directly, without unnecessary length
You use AI tools as part of how you think and work, and you check their output rather than accepting it at face value
You’ve built or used AI-powered workflows or automations to cut down manual work, and can describe a specific one
You’re comfortable working independently and know when something needs a human decision instead of a quick fix
You have some background in research, analysis, operations, or business support

RemoteOne matches Operations Associates with businesses across ecommerce, SaaS, agencies, and founder-led companies. Work is remote, hours vary by client, and there are no long-term contracts on our side, so the work reflects real ongoing need rather than a fixed headcount slot.
