Job Summary
As an OpenShot Expert, you will transform raw footage into polished, production-ready videos while documenting and explaining your workflow.
Your structured editing process, timeline organization, and decision-making logic will directly contribute to improving AI-powered editing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble complete video projects using OpenShot, from raw footage to final export
Demonstrate and articulate your real-time editing workflow for documentation and AI training purposes
Organize and manage video assets with structured timelines and logical project folder systems
Apply transitions, effects, titles, and audio enhancements to elevate production quality
Optimize export settings for various delivery formats and technical specifications
Troubleshoot technical challenges and document best practices within OpenShot
Provide clear written updates and structured feedback throughout project delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven, hands-on experience using OpenShot Video Editor in professional or freelance settings
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end video editing projects
Proficiency in timeline management, sequencing, and asset organization within OpenShot
Solid understanding of post-production workflows including color correction, audio editing, and export optimization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating tutorials, documentation, or structured walkthroughs of editing workflows
Background collaborating with remote teams or managing client-facing post-production projects
