Role Description
We are looking for a Part-time, Remote Network Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering interactive online sessions, guiding students through practical networking labs, creating high-quality course materials, and ensuring an engaging learning experience.
The instructor will mentor students throughout their learning journey, evaluate their progress, and stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices to maintain outstanding training quality.
You will play a key role in preparing students for real-world networking careers through hands-on, industry-focused training.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in Networking or Network Administration.
Seniority: Experience working as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or Network Specialist.
Teaching: At least 1 year of training or teaching experience is preferred.
Content Creation: Ability to design and prepare structured training materials including presentations, labs, practical exercises, and real-world scenarios.
Language: Strong ability to deliver sessions and explain technical concepts clearly in English.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of:
Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI Model, Subnetting)
Routing & Switching
Network Troubleshooting
VLANs, NAT, DHCP, DNS
Network Security Basics
Must hold valid CCNA and CCNP certifications from Cisco. (Mandatory)
Experience with network simulation tools (Packet Tracer / GNS3) (Mandatory)
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills with the ability to engage remote learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging live online sessions covering networking concepts and technologies.
Guide students through hands-on labs and real-world networking scenarios.
Provide mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluation.
Support students in preparing for networking certifications and career paths.
Continuously update course content based on industry trends and technologies.
