Role Description
We’re looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to join our client’s remote creative team. If you’re a technically sharp, creatively driven designer with a diverse portfolio spanning long-form, short-form, and social content — and you thrive owning projects in a fast-paced, multi-deadline environment — this role is built for you.
You’ll manage post-production processes end-to-end, collaborating closely with remote directors, producers, and editors across multiple time zones. This is a genuine opportunity to take full ownership of projects from brief through to delivery, within a high-output agency environment that values craft, speed, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Post-Production Ownership – Manage the full post-production workflow for assigned projects, from brief intake through to final delivery across branded, social, and doc-style formats.
Motion Design & Animation – Create 2D and 3D motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Blender, across a wide range of content types.
Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with remote directors, producers, and editors across time zones; attend client meetings and edit sessions as required.
Quality Control – Apply a rigorous eye for detail across all final deliverables, ensuring every output meets the highest production standards before sign-off.
Asset & File Management – Maintain organised, efficient workflows across LucidLink, Frame.io, G-Drive, and Parsec, managing own tech setup and backups independently.
Trend Awareness – Stay current with creative industry developments and bring fresh, informed perspectives to content execution.
Team Communication – Participate in routine project briefings, communicating updates, timelines, and creative developments to internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Adobe Creative Cloud – Fluent in Premiere Pro and After Effects; proficient across the wider Adobe suite for end-to-end motion and post-production work.
3D Software – Demonstrable hands-on experience with Blender or equivalent 3D tools, with ability to integrate 3D elements into motion design work.
Portfolio Depth – A strong, varied portfolio evidencing long-form, short-form, and social motion graphics across multiple content styles and formats.
Remote Workflow Tools – Comfortable working independently within distributed team setups using LucidLink, Frame.io, Slack, G-Drive, and Parsec.
Project Management – Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, prioritise to deadlines, and own delivery from brief to final output without hand-holding.
Storytelling & Craft – Strong creative and technical storytelling skills with a genuine passion for filmmaking and digital content creation.
Bonus Qualifications
Extended 3D & VFX Tools – Experience with Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Unreal Engine for advanced 3D and real-time content production.
Animation Apps – Hands-on experience with Procreate Dreams or Toonsquid for frame-by-frame and mobile-native animation workflows.
Colour & Finishing – Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Fusion for colour grading and compositing.
