We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (React & Node.js) who has moved entirely away from traditional, manual development. If you still write every line of boilerplate by hand, this isn’t the role for you. If you have been using Cursor as your primary IDE for over a year and know how to “program the AI” to build complex systems, we want to talk.
The “Non-Negotiable” Requirement
Cursor Mastery: You must have 1–2+ years of experience using Cursor.
You should be an expert in Composer, Indexing, @context management, and utilizing .cursorrules to maintain architectural integrity.
You can demonstrate a workflow where you spend more time reviewing and architecting than typing.
Expert with API Integrations.
The Tech Stack
Frontend: React.js (High-performance, clean UI)
Backend: Node.js (API design, services, integrations)
Workflow: Git/GitHub, AWS basics, and a heavy emphasis on PR hygiene.
Architecture: Experience with API integrations, event-based patterns, and reliable background processing.
What You’ll Do at Red Software
Build and scale core products using a Cursor-led workflow.
Ship fast, but ship safely: You’ll be responsible for validating AI output, ensuring it’s testable and debt-free.
Handle end-to-end features, from backend logic and integrations to frontend implementation.
Maintain high engineering hygiene (readable code, clear docs, idempotency).
The Offer
Compensation: $800-$1,500 USD / month (Contractor basis). Paid Hourly
