Role: Mathematics Expert (Remote)
Location: 100% Remote (Global)
Compensation: USD 40 per hour
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for Mathematics Subject Matter Experts to contribute to a research initiative focused on advancing AI systems.
In this role, you will apply your mathematics expertise to design and curate high-quality, challenging problems that support the development and evaluation of advanced AI models. This is a structured, short-term engagement with potential for extension based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and curate challenging mathematics problems across relevant subject areas
Review and evaluate AI-generated mathematical solutions for accuracy and clarity
Provide structured written feedback to improve solution quality and reasoning
Ensure problems and solutions meet defined quality and formatting standards
Collaborate with project teams to refine evaluation frameworks
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or holding a degree in mathematics or a closely related field
Strong foundation in undergraduate- or graduate-level mathematics
High attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Engagement Details
Independent contractor engagement
Fully remote with flexible scheduling
Expected commitment of approximately 15–20 hours per week, with potential to increase based on availability
Project duration of approximately 1–2 months, with potential extension
Hourly compensation: $40
Weekly payment via secure payment platforms
