On behalf of a growing software company serving clients across global markets, we are seeking an experienced and analytical Lead Data Analyst to drive data strategy, deliver actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates based in Egypt.

About the Role

As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a key leadership role in managing the data lifecycle—from collection and analysis to visualization and reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that support product development, business performance, and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for a data-driven problem solver with strong analytical thinking and experience leading data projects in fast-paced tech environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and delivery of data analytics projects across the organization.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality insights.
Build dashboards, reports, and data models to support decision-making and performance tracking.
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all sources and reporting tools.
Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices and analytical excellence.
Develop and document data processes, analysis methodologies, and reporting standards.
Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, including experience leading analytics initiatives.
Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker), and analytics platforms.
Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and data processing.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences.
Experience working in a software or technology-driven environment is highly preferred.
Fluency in English is required.
