Role Description
This is a contract based project and in person German Interpreter role at Blissed in Cairo. The Interpreter will translate and interpret verbal and written communications between German-speaking clients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and accurate communication. Key tasks include facilitating patient interactions, addressing inquiries promptly, and supporting the coordination of appointments and travel arrangements as needed. The role requires cultural sensitivity, linguistic proficiency, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Proficiency in German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in interpretation and translation, preferably in the healthcare or medical tourism sector
Cultural awareness and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive patient information
Flexible schedule and availability to respond to client needs across time zones
Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, or a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
