Cyberanda is an emerging EdTech platform dedicated to teaching cybersecurity to youth (ages 12-17) through interactive gamification and live CTF (Capture The Flag) challenges. We are moving beyond traditional video lectures by providing a hands-on Cyber Range environment where students learn by doing. As we scale our operations and welcome new cohorts, we are expanding our training team.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲:
We are looking for a passionate and patient Cybersecurity Instructor to join us on a part-time basis. In this role, you will lead live interactive sessions, guide students through our terminal-based simulations, and simplify complex security concepts into engaging, digestible content.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
• Lead engaging online training sessions for students aged 12-17, adhering to the Cyberanda curriculum.
• Guide students through hands-on technical labs, including Linux command-line operations, basic networking, and CTF challenges.
• Assess student performance, track their cognitive and technical progress, and provide constructive, encouraging feedback.
• Simplify complex concepts (e.g., routing, cryptography basics, troubleshooting) without losing technical accuracy.
• Maintain a supportive and secure learning environment that encourages curiosity and logical deduction.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿:
• Solid foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, networking (OSI model, basic routing), and Linux environments.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to break down technical jargon for a younger, non-technical audience.
• High emotional intelligence, patience, and a genuine passion for mentoring and education.
• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or active participation in CTF competitions is a strong advantage.
• Ability to commit to a flexible part-time schedule, primarily during evenings or weekends.
