The Mission: Moving Beyond the Chatbox

Are you a software engineer who treats LLMs as a fundamental primitive in your tech stack? Do you spend more time in Claude’s Workbench, optimizing system prompts and managing context windows, than you do writing boilerplate?

We are looking for a technical Co-Founder to lead our AI strategy. We aren’t looking for someone to “add a chatbot.” We need an architect who can leverage Claude 3.5 Sonnet/Opus and the broader AI ecosystem to build autonomous agents, complex reasoning loops, and production-ready web/mobile platforms.

This is a “builder-first” role. We value clean code, efficient token usage, and low-latency deployments over theoretical research.

Your Stack & Impact

1. AI System Architecture

• Design and implement robust RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and vector database integrations.

• Architect multi-agent workflows that handle complex, multi-step logic without “hallucination-heavy” outcomes.

• Optimize TTFT (Time to First Token) and overall inference costs to ensure a snappy, scalable user experience.

2. Claude-Centric Engineering

• Mastery of Prompt Engineering as Code: Versioning prompts, managing few-shot examples, and utilizing Claude’s superior reasoning for structured JSON outputs.

• Building “Chain of Thought” protocols and self-correction loops into the product core.

• Integrating AI tools (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript SDKs) to bridge the gap between LLM logic and web/app functionality.

3. Technical Ownership

• Own the entire AI lifecycle: From IDE to Production.

• Select the right infra (Vercel, AWS, Modal, etc.) to support high-concurrency AI features.

• Translate product requirements into technical specs that utilize AI to solve problems humans find tedious.

The Requirements

• The Engineer’s Toolkit: Proficient in modern web/app frameworks (Next.js, React, Node, or similar) with a focus on integrating AI APIs.

• Claude Power User: Deep familiarity with Anthropic’s API, prompt caching, and the nuances that make Claude 3.5 the choice for logic-heavy tasks.

• Product Intuition: You don’t just build what’s asked; you understand UX/UI for AI (handling streaming states, optimistic UI, and error states).

• The Startup Gear: You thrive in the “zero-to-one” phase. You ship MVP features in days, not months.

• Commitment: 10–15 hours per week (Equity-only until Seed/Series A).
