We are expanding our reach and are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-driven Business Development Manager specializing in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). About the Role
As our Business Development Manager for LCA & EPD Services, you will be the driving force behind our market growth. You will manage the entire sales pipeline—from identifying prospective clients with environmental reporting needs to closing complex, technical service contracts. You will serve as the strategic link between our technical sustainability experts and organizations seeking to comply with global sustainability regulations and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Outbound Sales: Identify, target, and pitch to manufacturers, building
material suppliers, FMCG brands, and industrial enterprises requiring LCA and EPD services.
Consultative Selling: Understand prospective clients, compliance needs, supply chain
pressures, and sustainability goals to present tailored LCA/EPD solutions.
Market Strategy: Analyze market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor landscapes to
identify new high-growth sectors and geographic regions.
Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the preparation of high-quality commercial
proposals, RFPs, and service presentations, collaborating closely with our technical delivery
team to ensure accurate scoping.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-
makers, including Sustainability Directors, Procurement Heads
Brand Advocacy: Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and
sustainability forums to position our brand as a thought leader in product footprinting.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
∙Education: Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
∙ 0–5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account
management, specifically within sustainability consulting, environmental software, or
carbon accounting.
∙Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
∙Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
∙Passion for sustainability and helping companies improve their environmental
impact.
∙Familiarity with Microsoft office, CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and LinkedIn Sales Knowledge is a significant plus.
