Purpose & Scope
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving demand generation efforts for Nuummite’s RPA, AI, automation, and digital transformation solutions across African markets, with a particular focus on Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

This role oversees the first stage of the sales cycle—identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities aligned with Nuummite’s technology offerings and Ideal Customer Profile. The BDR will focus on positioning Nuummite’s solutions to help organizations improve efficiency, optimize operations, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

The role is heavily focused on researching target accounts within the assigned territory and executing structured outreach campaigns through email, phone calls, and social media. The BDR will receive guidance and mentorship from senior sales leaders to support professional growth and performance excellence.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director and includes defined KPIs related to demand generation, along with regular business development responsibilities. The employee is expected to proactively initiate and follow up with prospects and provide consistent daily reporting.

Preferred Candidate Location
Egypt or South Africa

Market Experience (Mandatory)
Proven experience working with African markets, including Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and South Africa.

Language Requirement
Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing) – mandatory

Qualifications & Skills
BA or MA in Business Administration or a related field
Previous experience in business development, demand generation, or technology solution sales
Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers
Experience executing structured demand generation processes using CRM tools
Familiarity with RPA, AI, automation technologies, and digital transformation solutions
Strong understanding of how technology solutions drive operational efficiency and business value
Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
Ability to build relationships and maintain a strong professional network
Flexible, adaptable, and quick learner
Results-driven with a positive and proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities for Nuummite’s RPA, AI, automation, and digital transformation solutions through structured prospecting campaigns
Build and maintain targeted prospect lists aligned with industries that benefit from automation and digital transformation
Develop and execute outreach strategies (LinkedIn, email, calls) that clearly communicate Nuummite’s value proposition
Engage prospects with tailored messaging focused on process optimization, automation, and AI-driven efficiency
Qualify leads based on business needs, technical fit, and alignment with Nuummite’s solutions
Schedule meetings and demos with qualified prospects for the sales team
Collaborate with the regional team to position Nuummite’s solutions effectively in the market
Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture leads and build long-term relationships
Gather and share market feedback related to customer needs, automation trends, and competitive positioning
Analyze and optimize outreach campaigns to improve engagement and conversion rates
Prepare regular reports on demand generation activities and pipeline progress
Continuously build knowledge in RPA, AI, and digital transformation trends through research and professional development
Contribute to team efforts and collaborate to achieve overall sales targets
