Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a Bookkeeping AI Specialist. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing bookkeeping processes, managing financial statements, and ensuring the proper use of accounting software. The specialist will also handle journal entries and collaborate with the finance team to support operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records using AI-based bookkeeping tools
Review, categorize, and reconcile transactions
Perform regular bank reconciliations
Prepare and review financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheets, etc.)
Ensure accuracy and consistency across accounting systems
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues
Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants as needed
