Backend engineer.
Python Django experience is required; PostgreSQL is also required. Fintech experience is preferred. Faculty of Engineering education is preferred.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL
• Design and integrate APIs, payment flows, and third-party fintech integrations
• Optimise database performance, security, and reliability across the platform
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and operations teams to deliver new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in a fast-paced startup environment
• Support infrastructure, deployments, and monitoring of production systems
