This role presents a strong opportunity to contribute directly to top-of-funnel growth and sales activity. As an integral part of our client’s commercial team, you will be involved in activities that generate interest, warm up prospects and secure qualified appointments for the wider sales team, helping support consistent, sustainable growth.

Role Description

We’re looking for an Appointment Setter to join our client’s team. If you’re a confident communicator, persistent and target-driven, and you want to build or grow your career in B2B sales and business development while working with international clients, this could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll play a crucial role in contacting prospects, introducing our client’s services, handling basic questions and securing high-quality appointments for Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives or Business Development Managers. This position offers a clear entry and progression path into broader commercial roles within a structured, supportive and performance-based environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Outbound calling – Make outbound calls to lists of prospects to introduce our client’s services and generate interest.
Appointment setting – Book qualified appointments and discovery calls for the sales team, ensuring accurate details and confirmations are captured.
Lead warming – Follow up with previously contacted leads to re-engage interest and move them towards a scheduled appointment.
Script and messaging use – Follow call scripts and key talking points while adapting to the prospect’s tone, questions and objections.
Data entry and CRM – Log calls, outcomes and appointment details accurately in the CRM or tracking systems.
Basic qualification – Ask simple qualifying questions (e.g. role, needs, timing) to ensure appointments are relevant and valuable.
Follow-up communications – Send confirmation emails or messages where required to ensure attendance and reduce no-show rates.
Performance adherence – Work to daily and weekly activity KPIs (calls made, contacts reached, appointments booked) and continuously aim to exceed targets.

Minimum Qualifications

Relevant experience – 1–2+ years of experience in an appointment setting, telesales, telemarketing, call centre or similar outbound calling role (ideally B2B).
Communication skills – Strong spoken English with a clear, professional telephone manner and confidence handling live conversations.
Target-driven mindset – Demonstrated ability to work towards activity and results-based KPIs, such as number of calls and appointments booked.
Resilience – Comfortable handling rejection and objections, staying positive and professional throughout.
Organisation – Able to manage call lists, follow-up tasks and appointments in an orderly, structured way.
Tools and systems – Experience using basic CRM or call-tracking tools, plus standard productivity applications.

Bonus Qualifications

B2B environment – Experience working with business clients rather than purely consumer-focused roles.
International exposure – Experience speaking with UK, European or US-based clients or prospects.
Sales progression – Demonstrated interest in progressing into SDR, Account Executive or Business Development roles.
Script refinement – Experience providing feedback on scripts and messaging to improve conversion rates.
Additional languages – Any additional European language is a plus, though not essential.
