Job Title: AI Visual Content Creator
Department: Creative Development
Reports To: Founder / Creative Director
Role Type: Full-time
Work Model: Remote
1) Role Purpose
The AI Visual Content Creator is responsible for generating high-quality, emotionally resonant visual assets using AI tools to support the company’s cinematic video content and brand identity. This role bridges the gap between narrative development and final visual production.
Working from approved scripts, emotional beats, and music direction, you will use AI image and video generation platforms to create scenes, visuals, and motion assets that align with the brand’s spiritual, cinematic, and reverent tone.
This is not a traditional graphic design or generic stock footage role. This is a specialized creative role for someone who understands cinematic storytelling, visual pacing, and how to guide AI tools to produce emotionally powerful, thematically consistent imagery—especially for a faith-based audience.
2) Core Mission of the Role
To transform narrative and emotional direction into compelling visual content by taking ownership of:
AI image generation (scenes, characters, environments, symbolism)
AI video generation (short cinematic clips, motion assets)
Visual consistency across scenes and projects
Color grading, lighting, and mood alignment with script emotion
Preparing visual assets for final editing and post-production
The main value of this role is visual depth, emotional alignment, cinematic quality, and production efficiency—not volume.
3) Business Context
The company creates founder-led cinematic media with a highly specific emotional, visual, and spiritual identity rooted in biblical storytelling and reverence. The founder remains the final decision-maker for tone, theology, quality, and creative direction.
Scriptwriting, narrative structure, and music direction are handled by other team members. The AI Visual Content Creator works from those approved packages to generate the visual layer. This role exists because AI allows the business to produce cinematic-quality visuals faster and more affordably than traditional methods, without sacrificing emotional power.
4) Main Responsibilities
A. AI Image Generation
Generate high-fidelity scene images using AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Leonardo, Stable Diffusion, or similar)
Create character consistency across multiple scenes
Produce environments, symbolic imagery, and atmospheric shots that match script emotion
Iterate based on founder feedback until visual tone is correct
B. AI Video Generation & Motion
Create short cinematic video clips using AI video tools (Runway Gen-2/Pika/Luma/Kling/Hailuo or similar)
Add subtle motion to static images where appropriate
Generate looping backgrounds, transitions, or atmospheric motion elements
Ensure video motion aligns with emotional pacing (stillness, tension, release, awe)
C. Visual Consistency & Style Guide Adherence
Maintain a consistent visual style across all projects (color palette, lighting, composition, texture)
Build and reference a project-specific style guide from founder direction
Ensure all assets feel part of a unified cinematic whole, not random or disconnected
D. Emotional & Narrative Alignment
Translate script beats into visual counterparts (e.g., sorrow → muted tones, soft light, empty space; awe → grand scale, golden light, verticality)
Work from the emotional beat sheet and music direction to time visual intensity
Flag mismatches between vision and what AI can produce, proposing creative alternatives
E. Asset Preparation for Post-Production
Deliver clean, organized asset packages (image sequences, short clips, alpha channels if needed)
Name and structure files clearly for the editor
Provide resolution, frame rate, and format specifications suitable for video editing software (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut)
Collaborate with the visual creator (if separate) or handle end-to-end AI visual production
F. Tool Experimentation & Workflow Improvement
Stay current with rapidly evolving AI visual tools
Test new models and techniques to improve quality, speed, or creative range
Document effective prompts, settings, and workflows for future reuse
Share learning with the founder and team
5) What This Role Is Not Responsible For
To avoid confusion, this role should not be responsible for:
Final creative approval
Script writing or narrative development
Music direction or composition
Final editing or publishing decisions
Theological authority
Replacing the founder’s visual taste without review
Traditional hand-drawn animation or 3D modeling (unless as a bonus skill)
Stock footage licensing or management (focus is on AI generation)
This role supports the visual pipeline. It does not replace the founder’s final authority.
6) Key Outcomes Expected from This Role
A strong candidate should create:
Visually stunning, emotionally aligned scenes from approved scripts
Faster visual production than traditional methods
Consistent character and environment look across multi-scene videos
Clear, usable asset packages for post-production
Reduced reliance on generic stock footage
Stronger emotional impact through AI-enhanced visuals
Fewer mismatches between intended tone and generated imagery
A repeatable visual style that strengthens brand identity
7) Required Competencies
A. AI Visual Tool Mastery – Deep proficiency with at least two major AI image/video generation platforms.
B. Cinematic Eye – Understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, camera angles, and visual storytelling.
C. Emotional Intelligence – Ability to translate feelings (awe, reverence, sorrow, hope) into visual parameters.
D. Prompt Craft – Skill in writing detailed, effective prompts that produce usable results with minimal iteration.
E. Patience & Iteration Discipline – Willingness to generate dozens of versions to get the right one.
F. Brand Adaptability – Ability to learn and match the founder’s visual taste and spiritual tone.
G. Creative Maturity – Handle critique, revise deeply, and improve without ego.
8) Required Skills
Essential Skills:
Expert-level prompt crafting for AI image generation (Midjourney strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of AI video generation (Runway, Pika, Luma, Kling, or equivalent)
Basic understanding of video post-production needs (resolution, frame rates, file formats)
Strong visual taste and attention to detail
Ability to maintain character/scene consistency across multiple generations
Good written English for communicating prompts and processes
Technical / Practical Skills:
Midjourney (parameter knowledge, style references, image prompts)
Runway Gen-2/Gen-3 or Pika Labs or Luma Dream Machine or Kling
Basic image editing (Photoshop or Affinity or GIMP) for touch-ups and inpainting
File organization and asset management
Google Drive or equivalent for asset delivery
Preferred Skills (Bonuses):
Experience with ComfyUI or Stable Diffusion workflows (ControlNet, IP-Adapter)
Basic video editing capability (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut)
Understanding of biblical imagery, symbolism, and Christian artistic traditions
Experience generating visuals for faith-based or reverence-focused content
Ability to create simple 3D assets or use AI for 3D (e.g., Meshy)
Knowledge of upscaling tools (Topaz Gigapixel, Magnific, etc.)
