Presales Technical Consultant

We’re seeking a Technical Presales Consultant to own the technical side of Clouding AI’s bids for outsourcing and managed services deals, evaluating RFPs, shaping practical solutions with our tech and delivery teams, and writing clear, competitive technical proposals that win. This is a full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate incoming RFPs and RFIs, assessing scope, technical fit, risks, and feasibility to support bid/no-bid decisions.
Write and own the technical sections of proposals, including solution overview, approach, delivery model, SLAs, and assumptions.
Work closely with the tech and delivery teams to shape solutions, validate effort and resourcing, and make sure what we propose can be delivered.
Translate client needs into practical outsourcing and managed services solutions, such as application management, support, and staff augmentation.
Prepare technical compliance matrices and contribute to effort estimation and pricing with the delivery and finance teams.
Support sales in client meetings, discovery sessions, solution presentations, and technical clarification rounds.
Draft technical RFPs and requirement documents, for clients or for sourcing partners, when needed.
Build and maintain a library of reusable proposal content, solution templates, and case studies.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in application development and/or IT operations, with at least 4 years in presales, solutioning, or bid support.
Proven experience reviewing RFPs and writing technical proposals or RFP documents.
Broad knowledge across the application lifecycle, including development, cloud, integration, DevOps, and application support and operations. Breadth matters more than deep specialization.
Good understanding of outsourcing and managed services models, SLAs, and delivery frameworks.
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills in English.
Able to work across teams and manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in GCC markets.
Arabic proficiency.
