We’re looking for the one who researches a city they’ve never been to until they could give you a tour of it — and then puts that on screen.
Render House is a US-based agency producing documentary-style real estate content: in-depth YouTube videos about American cities, neighborhoods, and developments. Our clients talk about specific places — a street, a waterfront, a development going up on the east side. Your job is to make the viewer feel like they’re standing there. That means understanding what the place actually looks like, and sourcing the exact right footage — never something that just looks close enough.
Here’s the kind of work you’d be cutting:
Note: this role requires strong English. You’ll be cutting talking-head videos where every editorial decision depends on understanding exactly what’s being said.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Research the client’s city before you cut a single frame — its layout, its landmarks, its neighborhoods, what it’s known for, what it’s NOT
Edit 1–2 long-form videos per week (15–25 minutes), talking head + heavy B-roll
Source B-roll that matches the SPECIFIC place being discussed (YouTube, Google Earth, stock, Google Images) — and verify it’s really that place before it goes on screen
Build the narrative: pacing, structure, and the visual logic that makes a 20-minute video feel like a guided tour, not a slideshow
Use our Google Earth Studio and Drag & Drop templates for Data Placeholders, lower thirds and map flyovers (templates provided)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Genuine curiosity about places — you’d enjoy spending an hour learning a city you’ll never visit
A research habit: you check, you verify, you don’t guess
Long-form YouTube editing experience with strong instincts for pacing and retention
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
Strong English — full comprehension of spoken content is essential
Able to work independently and make smart editorial calls
