Safra is an AI-first travel platform. A traveler describes their trip and gets a personalized, bookable itinerary in seconds, then book the trip in the app. We serve GCC travelers in Arabic and English.
The roleOwn the development on our React Native apps (iOS + Android) alongside our backend engineers. Hands-on senior work, architecture decisions and shipped code. You’ll pick up a production codebase, work independently, and raise the bar as you go.
What you’ll work on
Booking flows end to end: search, results, cart, checkout, payment, confirmation
The AI trip planner: streaming conversational UI, voice input, maps, generated itineraries
Arabic and RTL as first-class: mirrored layouts, Arabic typography, direction-aware navigation
Release engineering: EAS build/submit, native config plugins, store submissions
Performance and stability: list rendering, animations, cold start, crash reporting
What we’re looking for
5+ years mobile, substantial React Native + TypeScript
Comfortable below the JS layer: Expo config plugins, native modules, Xcode/Gradle build failures
State management judgment — can work in an existing store without rewriting it
Shipped a real payment or checkout flow
Self-directed: takes an ambiguous ticket, asks the right questions, returns working code
Clear written English — we’re remote and async
