Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Enterprise Account Executive (Closer) at Upscend. The Enterprise Account Executive will own the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle, from qualified discovery calls through contract negotiation and close. Responsibilities include conducting consultative sales conversations, understanding complex learning and development requirements, and tailoring Upscend solutions to enterprise prospects. The role involves managing and nurturing a pipeline of opportunities, partnering with lead generation teams, and maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasts. The Enterprise Account Executive will collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and high customer satisfaction, while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Qualifications

Proven experience in Software Sales and Enterprise Sales, ideally with SaaS or LMS solutions.
Demonstrated success in Sales and Consultative Selling, including running structured discovery, delivering tailored demos, and closing complex deals.
Experience with Lead Generation, pipeline development, and qualification of inbound and outbound opportunities.
Strong Account Management capabilities, including relationship building, stakeholder management, and expansion of existing accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment with high ownership and accountability for results.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven sales practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
