Position: Accounting Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $50 – $80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor cash flow and expense tracking to support financial performance improvements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline financial workflows and improve processes.
Present financial insights clearly through reports and verbal communication to diverse audiences.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong experience in accounting and finance management within a remote or digital environment.
Proficiency with Akaunting or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
