Lifelong.Education is looking for a Professional Development Advisor to guide individuals in identifying their career development needs and recommending suitable training programs. This role combines advisory responsibilities with performance-based targets. The ideal candidate is someone who can build trust, understand career aspirations, and translate them into practical learning pathways while achieving defined sales targets.
The role involves engaging with working professionals, fresh graduates, and career transition individuals, providing structured guidance and recommending relevant courses and certifications. The role requires a high level of professional judgment in managing key accounts, implementing targeted marketing and outreach initiatives, and promoting learning programs to diverse audiences. The Professional Development Advisor will conduct bilingual (English and Arabic) advisory sessions and provide customer service support, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout all stages of the advising and registration process, in line with aspirations, reputation, and continued growth targets of Lifelong.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Career Advisory and Guidance
Conduct one-on-one consultations with individuals to understand their career goals, current skills, and development needs.
Provide professional advice on suitable learning paths, certifications, and training programs.
Help individuals identify skill gaps and align training solutions with career progression needs.
Conversion and Sales Achievement
Convert inquiries and consultations into confirmed enrollments.
Follow up consistently with prospects to support decision-making.
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
Build trust-based relationships with individuals through professional and ethical conduct.
Maintain ongoing contact with prospective and existing customers.
Encourage referrals and repeat enrollments.
Coordination and Administration
Maintain accurate records of consultations, leads, and conversions.
Update CRM or tracking tools regularly.
Coordinate internally to streamline program schedules, availability, and confirmations.
TYPICAL TASKS
Conduct career consultation sessions in person, over the phone, or virtually as required.
Recommend training programs and explain options clearly.
Follow up with leads and prospects.
Prepare and share course details and enrollment information.
Track conversion progress and maintain customer records.
Participate in events, webinars, or outreach activities when required.
Deliver one training session annually on any topic to staff or external trainees.

Advisory and Activity Metrics
Number of consultations conducted per week/month.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Qualifications (academic and/or professional) related to business, HR, psychology, or education will be preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database management systems such CRM platforms.
Experience
1 to 5 years of experience in advisory, sales, counselling, or other customer-facing roles is mandatory for the Associate level role.
Experience in sectors related to training, education, human resources, or other professional services is preferred.
Language
Professional level proficiency in English is required.
Native level proficiency in Arabic is required.
