Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute social media strategies tailored specifically for F&B clients (restaurants, cafés, food delivery brands, beverage companies, etc.).
Create monthly and quarterly content calendars that align with menu launches, seasonal promotions, festivals, and trending F&B topics.
Conduct in-depth research on competitor F&B brands, viral campaigns, and platform trends to understand what content resonates best with food-loving audiences.

Content Creation & Management

Manage and grow social media pages across key platforms, primarily Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Plan and support the creation of highly engaging F&B content including Reels, carousels, food photography & videography concepts, user-generated content, behind-the-scenes, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure all content accurately reflects each client’s unique brand voice — whether premium dining, casual eateries, or trendy beverage brands.

Analytics, Optimization & Reporting

Monitor key performance metrics (engagement, reach, saves, shares, traffic) and regularly analyze what’s working and what’s not.
Identify high-performing content types, optimal posting times, and successful themes, then optimize future content accordingly.
Prepare clear monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations for the internal team and clients.

Community & Engagement

Actively manage community interactions by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner.
Build loyal online communities by encouraging user-generated content, running contests, and engaging with food influencers and enthusiasts.

Research & Trend Monitoring

Stay up-to-date with the latest F&B trends, viral food challenges, influencer collaborations, and social media algorithm changes.
Benchmark against successful F&B brands and adapt proven strategies to deliver better results for clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

2–4+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, preferably working with F&B, hospitality, restaurant, or lifestyle clients.
Strong ability to build and manage content calendars while handling multiple client accounts.
Excellent portfolio showcasing successful visual-heavy campaigns, especially on Instagram and TikTok.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and optimize content based on real results.
Solid research skills to study competitors and spot emerging trends in the F&B industry.
Proficiency with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, etc.) and content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
