CloserMed is a purpose-driven, niche recruitment agency specializing in healthcare. We are currently seeking Nurses and Allied Health professionals with an interest in the business side of healthcare to join our expanding start-up as Medical Recruitment Consultants.

Our enterprise offers both a strong Purpose and a generous Commission Scheme. You’ll be working remotely from home within a small, international dedicated team with a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture. Our markets are in Canada and the United Kingdom, but the role can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in the world.

Monthly base remuneration as full-time freelancer
$300+ USD per successful candidate placement. The more placements you successfully deliver, the higher the bonus per placement.
Expected placements: minimum 2 per month, with high performance reaching 6–8+ placements monthly

ROLE MISSION

 

Help Canadian healthcare organizations recruit physicians globally (from UK, Ireland, Australia, USA, etc), improving access to primary care for underserved communities.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1️⃣ Develop Deep Sector Expertise

Actively follow our structured training program and continuously study your sector to become an expert in international physician recruitment.

This multi-disciplinary field requires strong understanding of:

Physician working conditions
Contracts and compensation structures
Clinic financial models (salaries, overhead, revenue)
Patient demand
Local conditions: housing, cost of living

2️⃣ Strategic Matching & Problem Solving

Develop a deep understanding of both client and candidate needs to create high-quality, long-term matches.
Proactively identify and implement creative solutions to resolve challenges that may arise at any stage of the recruitment process.

3️⃣ Market Education & Advisory Role

Act as a trusted advisor by educating both clients and candidates on:

Market conditions
Contract structures
Remuneration models
Role scope and work content optimization
Clinic operational improvements

4️⃣ Teamworking

Our company operates primarily through collaborative teams, with daily interaction and ongoing coordination. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a team-based environment and enjoy contributing to shared projects rather than working in isolation.

You will report directly to the Managing Director.

 

5️⃣ Drive Placements to Completion

Demonstrate strong closing skills, persistence, and proactive communication to convert opportunities into completed placements.

You will have clear KPIs and monthly targets.

 

6️⃣ CRM updates

Maintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM system, including candidate notes, process stages, communications, and status changes.

Ensure all data is structured, complete, and up to date to support performance tracking and team coordination.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent people skills / soft skills.
Analytical ability
Commercial awareness
High digital literacy and comfort working with CRM systems and online tools.
Comfort with numbers
Trained as: Registered Nurse, Staff Nurse, Nursing Officer, BSc Nursing, Physiotherapist, Radiographer, Pharmacist, Occupational Therapist, Sonographer, Clinical Officer, Paramedic, Speech and Language Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Dietitian, Optometrist, etc
