Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Egypt through the sale of Jira (Atlassian) licenses, upgrades, migrations, and consulting services. The role focuses on enterprise account acquisition, expansion, and strategic relationship management.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

🔹 Sales & Revenue

• Drive sales of:

• Jira Software

• Jira Service Management

• Confluence

• Atlassian Cloud migrations & upgrades

• Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets.

• Identify new enterprise opportunities and expand existing accounts.

• Build and manage a healthy pipeline (minimum 3x quota coverage).

 

🔹 Account Management

• Develop account plans for priority clients.

• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, PMOs, and Engineering leaders.

• Position Jira as a strategic enterprise platform (ALM / ITSM / DevOps).

 

🔹 Sales Cycle Management

• Manage full sales lifecycle:

Lead → Qualification → Demo Coordination → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure.

• Work closely with presales and technical consultants for solution positioning.

• Participate in RFPs and commercial negotiations.

 

🔹 Market Development

• Identify market trends and competitive landscape.

• Develop relationships with system integrators and enterprise clients.

• Support marketing events and Atlassian campaigns in Egypt.

 

 

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in B2B IT sales.

• Experience selling software licenses or SaaS solutions.

• Strong understanding of:

• Agile / DevOps concepts

• ITSM basics

• SDLC / ALM lifecycle

• Existing network in enterprise or government sector in Egypt preferred.

• Strong negotiation and closing skills.

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
