Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Consultant Pharmacist. The Online Consultant Pharmacist will provide expert consultation and counseling services, review prescriptions for accuracy and interactions, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medications, health conditions, and pharmaceutical practices, as well as delivering accurate and timely responses to online patient inquiries and healthcare team consultations.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of pharmacology, medication counseling, and prescription verification
Experience with online communication platforms and digital tools for healthcare
Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical information and identifying potential drug interactions
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in HIPAA compliance and familiarity with applicable pharmacy regulations
Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) and active pharmacist license in good standing
Previous experience in telepharmacy and/or online healthcare is a plus
Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
