Position: Teaching Assistant – Postsecondary
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $49–$98/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Support instructors with course materials, assignments, and online learning resources.
Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work and discussions.
Facilitate and moderate online discussions while responding to student inquiries.
Assist with grading, tracking student progress, and preparing academic reports.
Offer academic guidance to help students understand course content and expectations.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging virtual classroom environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant academic field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in online learning platforms and digital collaboration tools.
Experience supporting postsecondary students through tutoring or academic assistance.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setup.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
