Role: Finance Professional (Remote)
Location: 100% Remote (Global)
Compensation: USD 90-130 per hour

Role Overview

One of our clients is seeking experienced special needs financial planning professionals to support a dataset development project focused on disability-related financial planning and benefits coordination. You will create and review structured, high-quality content covering special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, and benefits-preserving financial strategies, helping advanced AI systems understand complex planning scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and organize expert-level financial planning content aligned with project guidelines and review standards.
Review, interpret, and translate special needs financial plans into clear, structured documentation.
Validate content related to:
Special needs trusts (first-party and third-party)
ABLE accounts
Guardianship-adjacent financial planning considerations
Ensure legal and technical accuracy regarding SSI and Medicaid eligibility rules, including income and asset treatment.
Apply expert judgment to common financial planning transitions, such as:
Transition to adulthood
Inheritance planning
Lifetime care and benefits preservation
Provide structured feedback to improve dataset accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in special needs financial planning, elder law planning, or disability-focused financial services.
Demonstrated expertise in special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, and benefits-preserving asset strategies.
Advanced understanding of SSI and Medicaid financial eligibility standards.
Experience working with families of individuals with disabilities on long-term planning and transitions.
Strong analytical skills to translate complex financial and regulatory concepts into structured, plain-language documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and comfort working within structured content frameworks.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.

Engagement Details

Type: Part-time, project-based
Duration: 4–6 weeks
Expected Hours: 10–15 hours per week
Fully remote, asynchronous work

Contract & Payment Terms

Independent contractor role
Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance
Work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
