Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and facilitate a wide range of recreational activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, camping, and hobbies
Promote participation by tailoring activities to the interests and abilities of diverse individuals and groups
Model and document engagement strategies to inform the development of accessible content and inclusive programming
Collaborate with team members to develop and refine community programs that prioritize safety and well-being
Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve the quality and impact of activities
Maintain thorough records of activities, participation, and outcomes
Ensure all activities adhere to relevant health, safety, and accessibility standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated experience facilitating group activities or community recreation programs
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and empathy
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Deep commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and participant safety
Ability to adapt programs to meet varied needs and age group
Comfort working independently in a remote environment and collaborating virtually
Detail-oriented approach to planning, documentation, and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Background in wellness, education, or therapeutic recreation
Experience developing content or training materials for diverse audiences
Familiarity with digital tools for remote team collaboration
