One Bit operates two heritage-focused e-commerce brands based in Dubai:

 

Zamani zamanistore.com — Smartwatch bands featuring Middle Eastern cultural art, designed for diaspora communities who want to carry their heritage on their wrist.
Coloring Palestine coloringpalestine.com — Palestinian-themed coloring books celebrating culture, history, and identity.

 

We sell globally, with a strong focus on the US, UK, Europe, and the Middle East. We’re a small, nimble team that punches above our weight through smart automation, authentic storytelling, and obsessive attention to customer experience.

 

About the Role

 

 

We’re looking for an E-commerce Growth Manager to take ownership of website performance, conversion optimization, and operational workflows across both brands—with primary focus (70%) on Zamani. This isn’t a “maintain what exists” role. We want someone who sees opportunities we’re missing, challenges our assumptions, and builds systems that compound over time. You’ll work directly with the founder on strategy and execution, with daily standups to start.

 

Responsibilities

 

 

Conversion Rate Optimization
Audit and optimize the full customer journey—from landing page to checkout to post-purchase
Run experiments (A/B tests, landing page variants, checkout flow improvements)
Improve product pages, collection pages, and site navigation
Reduce friction points and cart abandonment

Website Performance & Technical Optimization
Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals
Ensure mobile experience is exceptional
Troubleshoot and resolve WooCommerce issues
Manage plugin ecosystem and technical debt

Automation & Workflow Development
Own and expand existing n8n automation workflows
Build more sophisticated flows for email marketing, WhatsApp, customer service, and operations
Identify manual processes that should be automated
Connect tools and platforms to create seamless data flow

AI Implementation
Implement customer-facing AI (chatbots, personalization, product recommendations)
Leverage AI for operational efficiency (content generation, analytics, workflow automation)
Stay current on AI tools relevant to e-commerce and bring new opportunities to the table
Growth Initiatives
Identify and activate new tools, platforms, and opportunities
Collaborate on marketing initiatives with a conversion mindset
Contribute to improving customer experience across all touchpoints

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

3-5 years in e-commerce, with demonstrable CRO results
Strong hands-on experience with WordPress/WooCommerce is a must
Background in conversion rate optimization—you understand testing methodology, analytics, and what moves the needle
Experience building automations (n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar)
Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine interest in applying them to e-commerce

 

Required Skills

 

 

Proficient in WooCommerce configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting
Comfortable with website speed optimization and technical SEO basics
Able to work with APIs and integrations (you don’t need to be a developer, but you should be technical enough to connect systems)
Experience with email marketing platforms and marketing automation
Analytics proficiency—Google Analytics, heatmaps, session recordings

You’ve identified and implemented at least 2-3 new tools or opportunities we weren’t using before
We trust your judgment and you’ve become a true thought partner on growth
