Go Physical Therapy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our remote revenue cycle team. This role is responsible for accurate billing, claims submission, payment posting, and insurance follow-up to support timely and compliant reimbursement for physical therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
Submit clean and accurate insurance claims for physical therapy services
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Post payments, adjustments, and explanations of benefits (EOBs)
Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
Identify and resolve claim rejections and billing discrepancies
Maintain accurate billing records within billing and EHR systems
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer rules, and company policies
Communicate professionally with insurance payers and internal teams
Prepare aging, AR, and billing reports as required
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Medical Biller, preferably in physical therapy or outpatient settings
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance billing guidelines
Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid
Familiarity with billing software and EHR systems
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with denial management and AR follow-up
Knowledge of physical therapy billing workflows
Prior remote healthcare billing experience
