Bookkeeping & General Ledger

• Own the books across multiple entities and partnerships
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and journal entries
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations regularly
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Cash Management

• Oversee physical cash handling and ledger updates
• Implement SOPs for cash counts, deposits, and discrepancy resolution
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards

Inventory Reconciliation

• Reconcile inventory data across farming, manufacturing, and retail operations
• Align Airtable inventory and invoicing data with QuickBooks and other systems
• Support SKU-level cost tracking, margin analysis, and COGS modeling
• Help design scalable workflows for high SKU volume and multi-entity complexity

System Integration & Reporting

• Design workflows or integrations to streamline financial data entry
• Prepare accurate financial statements and tax-ready reports
• Build dashboards and reporting systems for leadership visibility
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across departments

Strategic Finance & Leadership

• Advise on capital allocation, cost optimization, and financial risk management
• Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and manufacturing to ensure financial alignment

🧠 Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting or finance, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or cannabis
• Hands-on experience with invoicing, payment posting, and full-cycle bookkeeping
• Deep proficiency in QuickBooks and Airtable (or similar database tools)
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and inventory-heavy operations
• Strong understanding of cash controls and physical cash reconciliation
• CPA or equivalent experience preferred but not required
• Experience preparing financial statements, forecasts, and executive-level reports

💡 Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with cannabis compliance and METRC workflows
• Experience designing SOPs and training crew on financial systems
• Comfort with high SKU volume and cost modeling
• Experience with investor reporting, board decks, or capital strategy
• Ability to challenge assumptions and build scalable systems from scratch
